I joined Birmingham City Council in 2002. Previous roles include Head of Organisation Development and Senior Officer in the Education Department (Birmingham City Council).
Member of senior HR leadership team. Corporate responsibilities include supporting Change Management, City-Wide People Resourcing and Redeployment, Training & Development, Restructures, Senior Officer Recruitment & Pay/Grading Employee Relations, Employee Engagement & Recognition Schemes.
Qualifications include FCIPD , MA and MSc.
Recent Awards : Set up and managed the 'HR Change Agent Team' that won the 2010 Personnel Awards Public Sector Category and won overall winner.
Judges commented, "Birmingham City Council has taken an innovative approach to utilising and engaging existing talent to the benefit of many stakeholders.
They proved that a lack of funding need not compromise delivery. The organisation’s creativity, business focus and determination has the potential to be replicated across the sector".
