A group of people come together
Ideas shared, will last forever
To change the face of what we see
The City Council, you and me
Sometimes its hard, to share our views
Of how we think we could improve
Little help we had before
But now my friends, you have the floor
Change the way you work between
Those out front and those unseen
Before they’d judge us for our faults
But now through BEST we get results
Now working in the team we’d try
To struggle through not knowing why
Get to the end and pass the time
Not always fun, an uphill climb
Now customers they never see
Just how much it means to me
To do the best that I can do
With little cause to follow through
But now the workshops come around
To my surprise, I have found
At last I feel they’ve heard my voice
We’ve had our say, and had our choice
So say it loud, what you believe
You might even feel relieved
Because you’re working with the rest
You’ve become a part of BEST
