Sowing the Seeds of Change at Hodge Hill

Adults and Communities’ Business Support and Service Improvement team in Hodge Hill, and their dedicated leader, Natalie Hill, have really blossomed under BEST – and they have pictures to prove it!

Natalie’s enthusiasm got the whole team involved as she challenged them to a seed planting session, to see if members of the team could create office sunflowers by growing them from seed. These plants have now flowered and are giving a little bit of sunshine to the team.

“I feel these seeds reflect this team at present,” says team member and BEST convert Elaine Malone. “Like so many other teams across the City, we are facing many changes but are working through each one as it comes and appear to be thriving when working within correct conditions.”

Elaine thanks Natalie’s drive and determination for completely changing her own attitude to the BEST programme, and says she now has enthusiasm and excitement for future projects for the team. The team have really made the most out of BEST, and with more plans in the pipeline to showcase just what one team can achieve, they’re ready to make a success of any challenge!
