I have been employed by Birmingham City Council since 2007; I have experience of working in various departments such as Adults & Communities- Birmingham and Solihul Mental House Service, Chief Executives – HR – Excellence in People Management Programme and Workforce Intelligence and Planning team and currently the BEST Programme – covering Housing and Constituencies.

I am a Contemporary Entrepreneurial Business Studies graduate and PRINCE 2 Foundation and Practitioner qualified. I have always been interested in setting up successful businesses whereas I am and have gained a number of experiences working in different areas.
In July 2010, I joined the BEST team as Programme Officer, offering help and support to people in the Homes and Neighbourhoods Directorate. My key role as a BEST Programme Officer is to build effective, trust-based relationships with all Homes and Neighbourhoods directorate BEST Leaders and Managers and provide one-to-one support to individual Leaders and Managers as required.

The role requires the use of initiative to identify and build relationships with Leaders and Managers of successful teams in delivering the BEST programme to capture their stories for directorate and corporate promotional activity.
