Cllr Rudge speaks at the Recognition event
In December 2010, the Corporate Recognition and Engagement Team hosted a Recognition Event, on behalf of Stephen Hughes, Chief Executive and Councillor Rudge, Cabinet Member for Equalities and Human Resources. The event was an opportunity to reward and recognise the hard work and commitment demonstrated by BEST Leaders and Managers. Cllr Rudge presented the ‘Living It’ awards and Dragons’ Den awards to this year’s winners. The recognition event is a chance to share successes and keep employees updated with how BEST is progressing and asking for suggestions and feedback. Over 70 leaders, managers and team members attended the recognition event which took place in the Council House over the lunch time period. Attendees reported it was a great opportunity to share BEST practice, to network with other Leaders and Managers as well as to meet Senior Managers, Directors and the Council's Leaders.
We would like to thank all BEST Leaders, Managers, Teams and Sponsors for their support over the past year. We recognise the hard work, dedication and commitment that each individual demonstrates to making BEST a success within their team.
