The BEST Programme Team with guest speaker Tarik Chawdry, Assistant Director for Human Resources hosted a lunch time BEST Recognition Event on Friday 20th November 09 in the Council House.
The event saw an amazing eleven monthly ‘Living it’ Award winners being presented with their trophies and certificates and five Dragons’ Dens winners being handed their plaques.
BEST recognition events are to reward and recognise the hard work and commitment demonstrated by BEST Leaders, managers and teams. The event helps to share successes and keep people up to date on how BEST has progressed throughout the year.
The attendees said it was a fantastic opportunity to share best practice, to network with other leaders and managers as well as to meet senior managers.
Tarik Chawdry said ‘I would like to thank all BEST Leaders and their teams for their hard work and dedication in making BEST work. I left the Recognition Event feeling inspired by the positive difference staff, across the organisation, are making through their BEST actions.’
