March has seen two teams win the team of the month title. Firstly, the Benefits Service, team seven, Corporate Resources Directorate. Nominated by BEST Leader Natalie Maragh for their continued commitment to charity actions. The team participate in baking and selling of cakes, raising money for various charities. The team have also taken part in their ‘secret BEST’ action. They all picked a name out of a hat and brought a £5 present for that team member. All of these activities have helped bring the team closer together.

The second team winning ‘team of the month’ are the Social Work Team, Yardley Older Adults, Adults and Communities Directorate. The team were nominated by BEST Leader Gary Turley-Finch for meeting the continued challenges of serving their citizens under introduction of new processes. The team use their BEST Workshop to discuss any issues, come up with new ideas and help continue their positive attitudes towards their working and wider environment.
