I joined Birmingham City Council in 2006 as an IT Trainer in the Housing Directorate having previously worked in several other training roles, including the manager of an employment and training centre for Peabody Trust in London. joined the Change Agent pool in November last year and secured a position with the BEST team shortly after.

I am now the Directorate Engagement Manager for both the Housing and Constituencies and Adults and Communities Directorates. I am responsible for maintaining the energy and momentum of the Council’s core values programme. will be working closely with BEST managers to ensure that BEST is embedded into key areas and becomes part of the planning process. am arranging to go out and meet managers to see how we can help their staff to carry out workshops and how to maximise the benefits of the programme to teams, the business and service users. The job is varied and challenging and allows me to do what I like doing....helping people.

Current Role: Directorate Engagement Manager - Housing and Constituencies and Adults and Communities

Room 101: Celery, litter, rude drivers

Couldn't live without: PS3, Top Gear, sunshine
