Council’s Young Staff Support City’s Young Homeless

Last updated 9th October 2009

A team of hardy souls from younger employee’s network, Generation BEST, will be taking part in a Big Sleepout on 4th December in aid of young people's homeless charity, St Basil's. The annual event is a little taste of what it's like to sleep rough while raising much needed funds for St Basil's through sponsorship.

With music and hot food available to distract us from the cold, the team will be supporting St Basil's as part of Generation BEST’s ‘Giving Something Back’ while also sharing an amazing insight into life on the streets and getting to know each other better.

If you would like to take part in this experience through Generation BEST, or find out more about the network, please email us through the GenerationBest mailbox on Lotus Notes or call 675 1545.
