Regulatory Services window display

The display was on show for two weeks from 24th November – 8th December 2008 in the shop window of Regulatory Services on Corporation Street. The display featured ‘Before and After’ pictures of their work across the city, including the work done in schools in association with the “Schools Litter Charter” which encourages school children to look after their environment.

Passers-by said that they were “INSPIRED” by the before and after pictures, and were encouraged to take a closer look at the display and the valuable work of the Environmental Warden Service.

The boards displaying the values

Staff described it as “Visual, eye-catching with lots of useful information. The display demonstrated how by living the council’s core values you can help improve the services provided to the citizens of Birmingham.

The team, led by BEST Leader Malcom Lobban, was also successful in applying for funds from the Dragons Den to facilitate disabled children’s access to allotments
