Claire Varley

I have recently joined the Council to work with the BEST Programme Team while we are launching Generation BEST, the new network for younger members of staff. I am the first point of contact for Generation BEST membership enquiries and will be organising activities such as professional development training, charity fundraising, the shadow CMT and networking events. I will also be promoting Generation BEST news and successes around the council and beyond.

The enthusiasm of everyone involved with BEST is infectious and it is exciting to be working on a programme which is so well supported! I am looking forward to working with Generation BEST members over the next few months to help ensure the network is a great way of meeting new colleagues, developing early careers and having a say in the way we work.
