Lord Mayor's Charity Dress Down Day

Cool and Casual for Charity

You are invited by the Lord Mayor Anita Ward to “dress down” on Friday 24 February 2012 to raise funds for the Lord Mayor’s Charity Appeal.

Birmingham City Council employees, schools and local businesses are encouraged to swap their usual work/school attire for casual clothes or something a little more imaginative. All we ask is that in return for dressing down, employees make a donation of £1 which will go directly to the Lord Mayor’s Charity Appeal

The Lord Mayor will be visiting Council offices, schools and local businesses throughout the fundraising day to thank everyone for their support.

For colleagues who are not able to “dress down” or do not wish to but would still like to take part, there will be Lord Mayor’s Charity Appeal stickers which you can wear to show your support and make a donation to the appeal. The stickers have been kindly created, printed and sponsored by School Stickers

If you are a local business and would like to get involved, please email the Charity Appeal Team.
