What are the Chamberlain Monthly Merits?

Recognition isn’t just a yearly activity. Staff are making unique, excellent contributions that are making a real difference, every week, every month of every year.

The monthly merit scheme will recognise this, and offer managers the opportunity to demonstrate ‘belief’ and ‘trust’ in their employees by saying ‘thank you’ and ‘well done’, in a public, structured way. The monthly merits provide a framework for managers and employees to share and celebrate their successes and to have this recognised widely.

Managers can nominate any of their team members for a monthly merit award. Winners will receive a certificate from the Chief Executive and Cabinet member for their portfolio, as well as a small gift. Winners will be published monthly across directorates.
