The BEST ladies before the race
Demonstrating the core values of belief, excellence, success and trust, isn’t always about work and workshops, you can build team spirit in lots of ways. Some members of the BEST team chose to show belief and trust by taking part in the Race for Life at the NEC, to raise money for Cancer Research.
The ladies joined over 4500 other women, from all walks of life and fitness, to raise over £1000 for Cancer Research, some took part to show support for family members with cancer, and others in memory of their loved ones who had passed away.
Alex Whittard, who ran the race in 23 minutes said, "It was an inspiration to see so many women joining together for this fantastic cause and it was great for us to do something as a team outside of work. Next year I am hoping to persuade more colleauges to join us!".
Race for Life is Cancer Research UK’s flagship event, which brings together thousands of women each year to walk, jog or run 5k and raise money to beat cancer. To date, four million women have raised over £240 million for Cancer Research UK’s life-saving work.
